Years ago I used to miss a step going downstairs, but got to the last step (by the way our stairs aren't carpet) and my foot was half way off. With all the momentum going down the stairs, my foot slipped and toes hit the floor, and stopped, meanwhile my body didn't. I've never felt so much pain in my life, but it didn't swell, and was fine after about 5 minutes. Ever since, there's been times I get what feels like someone stabbing a needle into my ankle and into a nerve - only way it goes is if I suffer through it and walk on it. No idea what's damaged since I never got it checked. Not sure how much this would help me, but I might try it I guess. I'd imagine I develop more scar tissue in the joint or something or a bone fragment is floating around, but I'm no medical person.

I can barely lift the leg. It feels like I'm carrying bricks laying on my side. I was in a car accident 2018 November. I walked mostly since then. Not to mention I can't lift the buttocks from the floor. I told the doctor my hip was pushed out of stocket and I stepped it back into place. He saw a hip injury suggested a physical therapist but the front desk nurses been blocking me since then. I been using these videos to help but now I feel like an tin man with no oil.

Started getting this pain or similar when hiking? But it only hurts when i have done too much down hill, and it becomes near impossible to keep going. Theres an ache in the side of my glute on palpitation, and a pain on the side of my leg above the knee. Changing to walking up hill or walking downhill backwards completely eases the pain. Does this sound familiar? Also, if i modify to a stiffer straighter leg down hill it eases, and is worst when really sinking into thay 30 deg range.

Hi, I'm experiencing pain in my upper part of the bottocks near the place of tailbone specially at the right side, it feels tender to touch about days ago. A week ago, I started feeling pain and numbness radiating to the back of both thigh and leg specifically when I bend forward. Note: the pain lower back was just happening when I bend forward, but now I do feel it every second and it becomes worse when I'm bending or doing activities. When I did this test, I felt sharp pain in that part of my back. I'm 22 yo female, didn't have any injury at that part, could it be sciatica?

So I am 3.5 weeks in doing phase 1. I can do all the exercises fine now easily. Still can have pain if sit to long. I started only being able to do 5 straight leg raises since quads were so deconditioned this has been chronic over a year. Still can feel weird walk sometimes, but phase one exercises are easy now. When should I progress to phase 2?

  • @joshuahankins2613

3 sets of 10 for exercises 6-8 weeks 2 to 3 times a week Do 5-10 minute walk as warmup or stationary bike To progress within phases can add reps to do 15-20 or add ankle weights/bands Phase 1 (1 to 2 weeks) Quad set 15 reps 10 second hold Straight Leg Raise do it all directions Double or single leg bridge Clamshell can use a band Phase 2 (3 to 5 weeks) Single leg deadlift Mini squat then can progress to lower depth if comfortable (3 sets of 10). Latter add weights start 10lbs each hand then work up. Stepup gradual move up height start at 4 inches (regular steps are 6-8 inches). Latter add weights. Reverse lunge can start with partial range. Latter add weights. Sumo Romanian deadlift Phase 3 Return to Sport Vertical jumps eventually do one leg jumps (Don't add weights) 1-2 times a week
